• Pete is available as a brass or trumpet clinician and competition or festival judge at the high school and community college level.

Teaching Philosophy:

• Every trumpet player, regardless of the style of music they choose to play, is a trumpet player first. (Develop versatility)

• Fundamentals are essential to success in any style of music. (Eat your vegetables!)

• Mastery of the Fundamentals involves the whole psyco-physical self. (see some brief thoughts on the Alexander Technique)

• Anyone can improve their level of playing if they apply themselves to the right material (literature)
  with an efficient method (for self evaluation and correction) at the base of that pursuit.

• With a firm foundation in the fundamentals, a student can go in any direction (muscially) or anywhere in the country (any music program)
  well prepared and confident.

• Everyone has the potential for being a master musician.

• Everyone already owns a free a membership card for creativity.
