• The air should be like an engine that once switched on, does not stop.
• Do not accent rhythm with the lungs.
• Play this free of accent.
• Play full not loud.
• Upper notes will require more air but do not accent.
• Don't let the tongue shift change the sound or air.
• Use slides to adjust intonation (high F and low D).
• Do not let taking a breath offset rhythm.
• Tongue rides on top of air once the slur is clean.
